Three-phase incoming reactor, also known as commutation  reactor, is used in the incoming line of the power grid, thro ugh the AC current, its role is to limit the voltage drop on  both sides of the converter commutation into the grid, su ppress the harmonic and thyristor current rise rate di/df a nd voltage rise rate du/dt, and the decoupling of parallel  converter groups. It is able to limit the voltage jump of the  grid and the inrush current produced during the operation  of the grid system, protect the terminal electrical equipmen t, and suppress radio interference.
