The shunt reactor is used to compensate the capacitive charging current of the line, limit the increase of the power frequency voltage of the system, an d ensure the reliable operation of the line. In order to reduce the increase of power frequency voltage of the system, ensure the safe and reliable ope ration of the system and the quality of power supply of the power grid, the shunt reactor has been used in the long-distance transmission system.
